"“Bitch is that my sweater?”
I only watched this film because the little hype on twitter and mainly because Mo’Nique starred in it. Im very happy to see her back doing film. Lee Daniels name was also attached so it gave me a little bit of faith but BET+ is just a red flag for me as original content. I went in with very low expectations so I did enjoy this more than i thought I would but it isn’t anything spectacular . It’s a b-horror movie that suffers from a bad script and average to poor writing. The highlight of the film is Mo’Nique and she is doing the best the can with it. Problem is the film a very genre bending film but not particularly good. Characters make very dumb decisions and clearly don’t act like a normal person would under these circumstances. There is a cool twist and the 3rd act Monique got a few laughs out of me but unfortunately that’s about it. I did have fun with this but it isn’t anything mind blowing. Glad to see her back getting work and hopefully she gets more."

"Wow!! I will give this movie 5 ⭐️. It’s so good to see Monique on screen again, she did an amazing job in this movie. I enjoyed all the actors in this movie. The story was well written but I do wish there was a back story to Monique’s character. But not sure if every person who plays a character like Monique need a back story. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. Let me know what you all think. 😊"

"1 star, but I HIGHLY recommend watching it. Yes, it’s a terrible movie, but it now defines ‘so bad it’s good’ in my book. Unfortunately, the movie starts off as a lackluster drama and doesn’t remember it’s supposed to be a horror film until about halfway through. Up until then, it’s dull and boring. But once the horror kicks in, it doesn’t stop! The characters are dumb, the plot is dumb, the dialogue is dumb—everything about this movie is dumb! And that’s okay! The real saving grace here is Mo’nique, who plays the villain. She absolutely devours the role, knowing full well how ridiculous it is, and goes all out, chewing up the scenery and delivering her lines with gusto. She alone makes the film worth watching. So while I can’t say this is a good movie, if you’re looking for something so bad that you can’t help but laugh at it—whether alone or with friends and family—give this a watch. If you make it past the first half, you won’t be disappointed."
