"Very striaght forward spider horror movie. Girl keeps strange spider as a pet, it gets bigger, escapes, starts killing people and she has to find a way to stop it along with her step-dad. Now there was a little bit of back story there about thier relationship and how they get along but she feels a bit guilty about her real dad. Again very generic. The spider design was ok but wasn't all that original. There was an ok body count with some blood and things ended with a set up for another. I mean there was nothing wrong with it but it was just too generic for me to rank this highly. I forgot about it as soon as the credits started rolling. Watch Infested instead. "It's scary and a lot of fun. It has some brutal scenes and some simple ones, and manages to go from 0 to 100 very smoothly. The characters are great, well-built and have a very good dynamic. It's a simple movie and I even felt the story speeding up a bit towards the end, but it gets it very right in knowing how to dose a bit of everything in a natural way."
