"Shocktober 2024:
I understand I'm watching this series in an order that serves no one but I'm just watching the ones that are on prime. Either way, this is probably the worst one I've seen so far but I think I like it more than some of the others in how little it tries to be genuinely good.
It's the most early 2000s MTV entry this franchise could have made. It would have slotted into any early 2000s slasher series without needing much adjustment because it's also very generic. And generic early 2000s slasher aesthetics have aged significantly worse that generic 80s slasher aesthetics. Also, I'm pretty sure this movie killed Busta Rhyme's acting career on arrival and that's pretty funny to me."
"This one and the previous movie in the sequel weren’t my favorites and were less scary than the original sequel. For both of them it was hard differentiating the real Michael Myers and some Halloween pranksters. The kills were unpredictable and no one was ready for them. No police were involved and nobody even cared."
"The only thing I don’t like about this movie is Laurie dying but other than that great movie 9/10 and great sequel "
