Two decades after surviving a massacre on October 31, 1978, former baby sitter Laurie Strode finds herself hunted by persistent knife-wielder Michael Myers. Laurie now lives in Northern California under an assumed name, where she works as the headmistress of a private school. But it's not far enough to escape Myers, who soon discovers her whereabouts. As Halloween descends upon Laurie's peaceful community, a feeling of dread weighs upon her -- with good reason.

"I mean come on Laurie Strode is a certified bad ass the scene where she goes back shuts the gate starts screaming out for micheal is iconic I was rooting for her! I think what is unique about this halloween movie is not the really bad haircuts but is the small act of humanity Micheal gave with the bathroom scene. It was also super cool to see all these appearances of Josh Harnett Michelle Williams and joesph Gordon Levitt. The micheal in this movie appearance was the budget version I found my costume and wig in a bargin bin 😅 overall though in my opinion a great watch in the halloween franchise not the best but worth it because if Jaime Lee curtis"
"Shocktober 2024:
Watching this series put of order has finally caught up with me having no idea what is "cannon" and what was just for this movie and none of the others. From what I can tell Laurie's son is just in this one.
I guess in the grand scheme of weird 90s entries to beloved, long-running horror franchises it could have been worse. I can also see how having Jamie Lee Curtis back for the first movie in awhile would be exciting. But again, watching out of order so as far as I know based on what I've seen, she's been in all of them. She was undeniably the best part of the movie and the rest of the cast simply couldn't hold their own.
This is also VERY 90s in ways I don't necessarily love with the irony and the Creed song energy. It's very strange to jump around in this series and sightseeing all the eras."
"Even if I liked the original timeline better, this Halloween sequel is the beginning of an alternate timeline of Micheal Myers history. It wasn’t as scary as the original series and lighting and soundtrack was also very different. I did like seeing the character development and personal growth of Laurie since she’s trying to recover from the trauma of what happened on Halloween 20 years ago."
"A great sequel and great way to bring back Laurie 9/10 movie"
