"Extremely interesting but left a lot to be desired. They didn't give enough insight into how he felt about what he went through...there was really no information aside from what was absolutely necessary to explain the footage that was shown. I'm sure Google will be able to tell me, but I feel like the documentary could've been a lot more informative. "
"If you know about the history of game shows you may already be familiar with this story, but The Contestant shares a rounded take of the whole ordeal. The interviews goes in depth with the creator and with ‘the contestant’ himself. The interviews with the creator are quite disturbing and showcased not only how money can cause people to carelessly take advantage of other people for their own gain, but also how that effects both parties in the long run. The last bit of the movie goes into the contestants life afterwards and probably could’ve been summarized a lot easier in my opinion. Nonetheless this movie is worth the watch especially if you’re into disturbing and strange media. "
