"This was a very relatable film on corporate culture with the back drop of this serial killer situation. It does have something to say about corporate America and how things can get shady in the background. So the comedy is like office space with some Friday the 13th killer vibes. It was pretty transparent who is responsible and why. So there really wasn't any mystery there. More brutal than expected with some creative kills. "Somewhat regret not watching it in the original Swedish, but very good nonetheless. I love the editing and how it manages its large cast without feeling like characters were wasted; they all played their part in the story."

"Definitely above average slasher film with a dark sense of humor (a film after my heart) with excellent direction, cinematography, and editing. My only gripe is that while some of the characters are more likable than others there’s really not much to know about them which considering the plot is a minor gripe but I thought it could have enhanced the film. Really though that’s the only thing I can hold against The Conference as it does a lot right in terms of avoiding the genre tropes that can bore or enrage a viewer. The killer is human and makes mistakes, the victims actually fight (like hell in some instances) back, there’s no “final girl”, etc. So in that sense it’s truly more original than most. I’m not the biggest fan of dubbed over foreign films but it really didn’t detract from the experience so job well done Netflix. I recommend. "
