All Is Bright

"This movie doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it deserves. Paul Giamatti and Paul Rudd give hilarious performances, and their chemistry is amazing. It’s nothing groundbreaking but the script is very original and leaves a lot of room for the two Pauls to run away with it. Even Sally Hawkins had a lot of fun with it. You can just tell this is a movie that was really fun to make, and because of that has a great carefree and spontaneous feel. Definitely a good break from the average Christmas movie."

"I actually feel the need to change my review of this one. Bc of a really reliable recco, I decided to go back and watch it again. There was not a lot of lighthearted fun, but the actors and the story make this an undeniably quality film. If you're looking for holiday fun, look elsewhere 😅 But just a really good movie that just may not be super uplifting, go for it. "
