"Its ridiculous, silly, and funny, and a childhood classic. Yes, it's terribly ridiculous and nonsensical and there's a lot of random stuff going on, but that's the whole fun of Ernest movies. This is one of those you watch when you want to turn your brain off, watch and endearing and lighthearted man goof around, and possibly get a few laughs from the trouble he gets himself in. One could say Ernest is similar to Mr. Bean in how he is ridiculous but also endearing."
