"Michael got his head blown off at close range in the first movie. In the theatrical version I saw. In the directors cut on DVD, I saw. He is shot multiple times.
This is a sequel to the directors cut. Since Malcolm McDowel got Michaels fingers through his eyes. In the theatrical version of part 1. He is also alive for this sequel.
So yeah, it’s a mess."
"Coming off of the incredible predecessor that Zombie made in 2007, I think this movie sort of lost momentum after the first ten minutes or so. I appreciate the weirdness, and aesthetic of the film, and the whole white horse thing regarding their “purity”, but it feels more like a MTV drama movie, than a Halloween movie. Other than the first few kills, they’re all quite basic, and Michael’s back being sidelined for the movie. Loomis’ actor did a phenomenal job, as well as Brad Douriff’s character. And Laurie’s actress made me want to pull my ears off my face. She was already tolerable in the first movie, but she’s just plain obnoxious in this one, it’s way too over the top for me."
"The fact that we can see Michael’s imagination is crazy. It also tells us that Micheal never matured into an adult and still thinks of himself as a child. But being able to evaluate Micheal makes him less scary. I still love the original Halloween sequels better. And for Laurie, please make the crying stop. She is just being a crybaby when she needs to be strong. I also don’t like Dr. Loomis’s character since he cares more about his fame and success more that his patient and security of Haddonfield."
"I liked this movie but i didn’t like the white horse plot but other than that 8/10 movie"
