"This is some dark sh*t. Oof. To anyone familir with Clive Barkers work, he tends to present his stories with his own, weird, almost cosmic brand of english horror (ever see the movie heartless? Yeah that). This movie is no exception, as it is filmed with the same gritty, saturated, dark look as the midnight meat train, and evokes the same strange, icky, nihilistic feelings as the original Hellraiser and Candyman. This movie cranks it up to 11 though, as its grunge esc soundtrack, sociopathic tones and presentations of ptsd and body dysmorphia are shockingly tasteless. I knew I loved this movie. To anyone sensitive to the subjects listed above, I would recommend sitting this one out. It is very dark, noticeably cruel and definitely intended for a mature, thick skinned audience. 4/5 stars "
"An interesting concept that I hadn’t seen done before. It handle the idea of torture in a way that I don’t think most horror movies even think about. "
