"This is a great b-movie noir. A detective has to protect a widow, as she travels to court by train, so she can testify against her husband’s former cronies who had him killed. However, she has a deep distrust of the police and hitmen have been dispatched to make sure she never makes it off the train. The film is a tight (71m) pressure cooker, full of twists and turns, snappy dialogue and memorable characters. 4.5 out of 5 stars"
