"The Meg, or the Megalodon shark movie is just what you expect from Jason Statham: action with some relationship drama thrown in. He doesn't have that many lines, just like most of his movies. I actually liked all the actors as an ensemble group. It is always good to see Li Bingbing. This is a good movie even with a couple of outrageous stunts from the shark. I still enjoyed seeing that monster shark soar out of the water or grab hold of its prey. I cannot wait until the sequel releases."

"I enjoyed it. Predictable but enjoyable.
Most shark movies have the same kind of suspense and expectations yet this managed to surprise and entertain. It's not a normal shark movie by any means, and that turns out to be a good thing.
I love the main characters and the little girl. Of course characters are gonna die and quite a few made me sad yet it still kept me invested. Right when you don't expect it that's when it hits you. Even though I knew what would happen it still surprised me and kept me interested throughout the entire time and has managed to lure me back quote a few times to rewatch it."
