Consenting Adults

"Everytime I forget what the 90s used to be and the stuff we had to put up with during school etc. A film like this pops up to remind me 😆. Sick. I pushed through the fact that one of the characters is kevin spacey, but I couldn't watch anything past the premise of "I'm a sociopath, who won't be your friend unless we mutually r&pe each other's wives." The blurb had no preview into this and sold the whole thing as "they grew too close, a steamy romance, murder mystery." Just completely ignoring the issue of consent. I suppose because back then there really wasn't any. My only hope is that the memory of this film gets burned from my brain in the dumpster fire that was this movie."
