"With two of my favorites actresses Mia Goth and Ana Taylor-Joy you would think I would have loved this film. But honestly it just felt like this director was trying to do too many different things. Not to mention i found it kinda boring. Then by the time the film wrapped up I didn’t feel any better."

"Just deleted a review for the second time ever yay.
The actors have good performances. I liked the dialogue between them. First time seeing Mia Goth acting. While I wasn’t impressed I did like how soft she made her voice throughout the film without it sounded dumb or forced. Unless that’s just her voice… Can’t say but found her voice very soothing.
Enjoyed the first half quite a lot actually. Enjoyed that montage of them prepping for that man to go to their house. The board game was cool. I mainly just enjoyed the dialogue that’s why I liked this a lot. Plus it can be a somewhat pretty movie.
The dad twist was cool. But they immediately destroyed it when they revealed that the dad killed all the siblings but the main actor. Plus he also has multiple personalities of his siblings.
I’m getting tired of multiple personalities in movies and such. Which sucks because one of my favorite shows mr robot has it. And is making me start to hate it. This and the boys as well recently. I don’t think it’s bad in the boys but I don’t know. Let’s get off the tangent.
Anya Taylor Joys speech was the most cliche cringe I’ve ever heard in a film. Great actress just terrible writing.
Very disappointing movie. Makes me upset. Wasted my time for this garbage.
I would say I’d recommend the first half but I am probably the very few who liked it that much. Plus you can’t watch only half a movie.

"This film made the choice to be incredibly slow for the first half and cram the majority of the plot and action into the last third. Considering I almost fell asleep during the first half, the cramming of action in the last half was jarring and confusing. The family relationships were nicely fleshed out, and the acting wasn't that bad, if I ought to say something positive. I acknowledge that currently being concussed may have affected my opinion of this film."
"Now THIS is a cinematic gem that kept me on the edge of my seat. Without revealing any spoilers, I can confidently say that it delivers one of the most impressive plot twists I’ve encountered in a long time. This film masterfully weaves a suspenseful narrative that constantly keeps you guessing, and just when you think you have it figured out, it takes an unexpected turn. This film’s twist is so mind-blowing; it should come with a warning label for potential whiplash from all the head-spinning. Don’t walk, run to watch Marrowbone if you’re ready for an experience that will leave your jaw on the floor and your movie-loving heart in awe😧"
