"The description doesn't even hint at the "rich man loves troubled woman" pre-apocalypse B-plot. I wasn't a fan at first, but stuck around for the post-apocalypse scenes which are decently well done. The creature looks and sounds great! Scarier than a typical Romero Zombie. Injured-survivalist vs monster story with blood, some gore, and melodrama. If you can't stand the backstory flashbacks, probably don't bother finishing it."
