"I really thought I was watching a 1970s-era movie. The production and script certainly have the feel of the '70s and maybe even the '60s. Honestly, I would most likely better appreciate Al Berto if I: 1) Spoke Portuguese; 2) Understood Portuguese culture; 3) Knew more about Portuguese history. Unfortunately, Big Sister Spain has sucked most of the oxygen out of the room already. Flip a coin when deciding whether to watch this one."
