"⭐⭐⭐— [MINOR SPOILERS] Overall the idea behind the movie was solid, and the plot was smooth and entertaining. Minor complaint, not even 12 minutes into the movie and we have a chunk of unnecessary misogynistic commentary from our protagonist's boss, Gary. Idk, left a bad taste in my mouth. It didn't even feel like it was for character development, seeing as how he died moments later. If they wanted to show him as an asshole, I feel like there are other ways to do it, especially when so many people look up to Seth Rogen. That aside, the rest of the movie wasn't bad! I definitely laughed. Danny McBride's acting was great while having to play a character that's written to be so back-and-forth, jaded one second, enraged the next, giggly and sarcastic later. Starting out forgiving and chill only to be murderous moments later. If I'm being honest though, I was kind of rooting for Sonny the whole time (kidding). It's just that Cassie was quite frankly making every stupid decision she could other than at the gravesite. Morgan is a little snot. Scott and his new girlfriend are both annoying in their own ways. I... *sigh* I was definitely invested enough in the characters to keep watching the movie to see what happens, so I still recommend watching it, it was a fun movie. My only other complaint is having Cassie in a bra for the end of the movie for quite a while?? After she punched the glass she could've put her shirt back on. Another bad taste in my mouth. Not the actors' faults, that's all on the writers. "
