"I’d rate higher if it wasn’t for that dang ending which was wildly out there. YES, it is quite campy/cheesy AND it did still have its moments of suspense and good lore building. I definitely agree the leads(very likeable with good chemistry ) carried the film. flawed but still a good watch for me. 7/10 "
"The lore building I thought was really spooky and well done. I was definitely creeped out by the antagonists or "The halloween party". To me, The plot started okay got strong midway and then just fell apart at the end. The chemistry between Spencer and the main girl was freaking great. "
"This movie has some "it's so bad it's good" moments, but really, overall, it's complete 💩. The characters are aggressively terrible, stupid, and not funny. The acting... yikes. The movie breaks its own rules and goes against its own logic. And frankly, making physically deformed children/teens the main antagonist is just offensive. By the end, I was rooting for the deformed kids to horribly kill all other characters. The only thing redeemable about this movie is that by the end, you knew the movie itself knew its plot was stupid."
"i love “so bad it’s good” content so when i went into this movie with that expectation, this was insanely enjoyable to watch. they clearly didn’t have a huge budget but worked with what they had. i was entertained the entire way through and it had a fun halloween atmosphere. watching this at a big halloween party with friends would be the ideal watching experience, imo. also… i’m sorry but that ending was hilarious. 🎃"
