"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When it first came out if anyone told me I would not only watch this movie but not be able to stop thinking about it too, I would have adamantly laughed in their face. I was so turned off by the trailer I just thought oh no this level of manic debauchery is not for me. So yeah any polarization it might impart is understood but also..yeah..it was good. It’s a stylized 20s era piece meaning inspired by that reality but not of it. It’s also kind of a love letter to Hollywood while also lambasting it. It’s long long long..but not too long. I don’t know. Maybe because movies do take you to other places, can wrench you apart or change your perspective, have you internalize pain, joy, empathy or even feel so good it’s like being high. There’s a power there this film acknowledges. But it’s not easy. People are elevated and made idols, but also used and destroyed. I think I’ve made this movie deeper than it is but..it got under my skin. It’s not high art but it’s a lot higher than I thought it would be. No pun intended."
"An epic movie about the rise and fall of assorted characters in Hollywood in the 1920s. It shines a spotlight on depravity and excess of the time. Margot Robbie steals the show with an A+ performance. This is a wild ride with crazy scenarios. Overall, I loved it despite being a little long for my tastes. They could have trimmed about a half hour or so from it to make it flow a little better. But still, a solid A. One of the best of 2022."
"Margot Robbie is insatiable in everything she does and this was no exception. It was fantastic from beginning to end! "

"Truly a remarkable movie. Showed the ever changing Hollywood industry. How everything is repeated, how some are judged while others aren’t. It’s difficult to explain the message as theirs a whole process built on in this movie. I highly recommend you to watch. Showed racism and homophobia in the industry in the past while brightening a light on what occurs today. The sarcasm and irony mad the movie enjoyable, but the message was still clear and as powerful as ever! Contains some stars and movies from the beginning, and shows the impact in future! #comedy #action_and_adventure "
