"Spoilers
This film tries to tackle themes of grief and self discovery by using a 44 year old man that acts like a 9 year old. He befriends a child and they run/fly around town together. It is beyond disturbing. The film's villain is obsessed with the child's mother and creates a fictional world to be with a fake version of her. You add the "fly spider" to it and it's just all kinds of nope. The only good parts about the movie were Carl; some dragon creature, and when fake mum turned down the villain. Children 5 and under might love this film, but anyone older won't probably even want to finish it. "
"A fun time that's a little poorly written at the end."

"I found the overall message of this movie to be sweet and powerful. I found myself laughing a lot throughout the movie. I will admit this movie will not resonate with everyone. The direction the movie went in was not what I was expecting, but it wasn't a total train wreck, in my honest opinion. Bottom line, this is definitely a kids movie directed at a younger audience, but they tried to slip in content that would also resonate with the adults watching. It was odd, cute, and silly - all themes that I personally very much enjoy. This movie is perfect to passively watch if you want some silly background noise entertainment while you work on something else. All in all, I enjoyed this movie. It wasn't one of the top best movies that I've seen this year, but it was a fun and creative little movie. It's worth a watch if you want a silly movie to watch with younger kids and have it still be an entertaining experience for the adults in the room. If you don't enjoy totally random and silly content, this will not be a movie you will find entertaining."
