"Such a sad story. Such greed. Such mindless, greedy, stupid killing. We know the history. This tale of woe shows a group of men whose greed leads them to risk their lives and to destroy a Buffalo herd. "

"Yes. Another film with Cage. It’s not great. Maybe not even good. But by the end I got a bit of the crazy eyes and lunacy from Nic’s character as he hunted buffalo in the wild. The thing this film drove home for me was “value”. History shows the horrible things that have been done when chasing or even killing the things we’ve decided are valuable. I thought this major theme made it worth the watch even though getting there wasn’t very entertaining or even fun. Just my take."
