"The first half of the movie is just a recap of the show then it goes into Tuhru's parents background. I thought it was fairly well done. I liked the show better than the movie though. "

"I am Happy that they made the movie. First half of the movie it is a repetition of Season 3 but in a summary way, the second is about Tohru’s parents. I always wanted to know how the father looked and he kind of remind me of Hatori’s physical. On the 2019 version, Hiro asks Tohru’s why she always mentioned her mother but not her father. Tohru’s was angry at her father because he almost took away her mother away when Kyoko was depressed. So she took her father’s personality to keep her mother with her. Always thinking of others before herself. One of the memorable stories from the series was when Momiji was telling a very sad story about a girl that gave everything without receiving anything back. "
