"Well we know if Tom Hanks is in it, it’ll be genuine, moving and touching in so many ways and that was exactly it. One family room, one house and multiple intertwined stories focusing on main characters though - going through all the stages of life. I admired the set, the different furniture that changes from every decade. Beautiful idea, creative but yes sad. Well, life moves on until the next family purchases the home. "

"Honestly, Here is a solid slice of life movie that worked pretty well for me. At times, it's kind of depressing and the ending is a bit of a downer which I probably could have done without today and I wish we got to know more of the other characters. Leo and Stella were such a breath of fresh air compared to our central leads and I wish we got to spend more time with them. It was cool to see Michelle Dockery - I had no idea she was going to be in this - in the 1910s set scenes as well. My favorite aspect was easily Alan Silvestri's score. I may have to read the graphic novel this is based on and see how it compares."
"So emotional. It was better than I thought it would be. "

"Super cool and a great idea!! One house one living room you get to see different families that had lived there through the centuries. All the happy, sad, hard times deaths, cultural events that have happened and how it affected all the different families. Now I will say the first 15 minutes is a little slow because it’s setting you up to understand how the movie is going to work. But with that said it’s a beautiful story that you don’t want to miss. ✌️"
"3.5. If you like plays and artsy pieces, you might enjoy this. I get that the film covers one house and its land for centuries, but it lacks a plot or climactic elements. It’s not hard to see how it will end. It left me feeling strange like when I returned to my childhood home to find another family’s routines, hopes, and disappointments. This Back to the Future director is known for exploring time, so “Here” is not surprising. If you feel the scene switched just when you were starting to follow, that’s how this goes. It’s like a slide show with fades and transitions. "
"A beautiful story about the passage of time through the lens of a place/home and the people that occupied the space over the years. The AI aspects were noticeable in some places but didn’t affect the story for me. The camera direction was well done, especially for focusing on a small space for the majority of the movie. Robin Wright and Tom Hanks as a couple on screen had great chemistry as they had been together in Forrest Gump -another film by Robert Zemeckis. I am personally a fan of most of his films so this one follows suit for me. It was emotional and sad to watch time go by as if in an instant everything changes and we are old(er) (anyone over 40 knows this feeling). Although the film was good, not one I would put on my rewatch list for this reason. "
