"A fun monster movie with the realism you want from a movie like this. It's nothing new or unique. Basically it's the same story as Anaconda, Piranha, every shark movie, etc. Minster starts killing people, people try to find out what it is / if it's real, more people die, big confrontation, somewhat happy ending with a teaser for more.
However, Betty White is in this movie and her character brings some refreshing moments out. I didn't expect her and I definitely didn't expect how she'd turn out. Now granted other monster movies may have characters like here, but since shes Betty white it made everything better. I did enjoy her dialogue and she played the character exceptionally well.
But other than that the movie is forgetful. It wasn't that long ago I watched this movie but all I remember is how one character died, Betty Whites moments (that constantly steak the show), somewhat what the main female looks like, the big climatic ending, and the finale itself. (I also remember that teaser at the end too but won't go into specifics). It's just forgetful. And I am a Betty White fan but I'm not joking when I say she's the only thing you'll remember about this movie. Even my cousin who likes this movie and had seen it before said all be remembered was he liked it and Betty White moments. So clearly her character and acting did something right to be the only memorable part.
Overall, typical monster movie, no more no less, nice enough action with a few moments sticking with you, actual terrifying beast, good job scares, & a memorable performance by a beloved and past on actress. "
"Y’all got me. You really had me going. “Betty White is great in this”, “super fun and campy”, “must-watch” 😑. You got me. "
