The Atypical Family

"The premise of the show is interesting - a family with powers can no longer use their powers due to modern illnesses (depression, insomnia, obesity) and now this girl shows up that could be their savior. The actual plot could be lackluster at times, not fully keeping my attention in each episode, but keeping my interest enough to keep watching. The full story made it worth watching for me, mainly because the last episode was my favorite (though popular opinion seems to disagree with me), but I liked how the end didn't follow the layout of typical k-dramas. 8.5/10🔥"

"The love story to beat them all. Epic. Binged all 12+ hours in two nights. You will laugh. You will cry. You will feel everything as your heart breaks and then is healed, only to be broken again. A family with superpowers is losing everything as their powers die. Trauma has ripped a hole in their lives. A mysterious woman might be able to save them all. But at what cost? I swear, I'm sick with longing to be able to watch this again for the first time. The young daughter is beautiful in her uniqueness. The father is gorgeous and I have a huge crush on him. The love story is everything you could want from it and more. And yet, this is so much more than a love story. It's about family and forgiveness and healing. Every character grows exponentially as a person. Every character has their own story. No one is left out except for maybe the uncle. I didn't learn a lot about him but his strength and stoicism are probably all we need. He and the mystery woman are the two funniest, in my opinion but they all gave a lot in their comedic moments. I would say this is a fantasy and a comedy and a drama and a love story and still so much more than that. This is now one of my favorite limited series of all time. Watch this. And bring your box of tissues. Make that two boxes. 10/5*s"
