"👍🏽 🥕🥕🥕🥕 This #limited_series #documentary has been both #entertaining and #informative, with a very infectious and #fun vibe.
It has the feel or format of a “reality TV” show, but it’s an experiment set up to study THE PROS & CONS OF A VEGAN DIET 🆚 AN OMNIVORE DIET. 🥩🧀🥬 🌱
It features some very charming test subjects 🤓🤓 (various sets of identical twins) with the exact same DNA, which could help determine which diet is healthiest 🧬👯 AND it has interesting health “nuggets” scattered throughout ▪️ The series is 4 episodes, each with a runtime of 45 minutes, "
"I highly recommend EVERYONE to watch this limited series of only 4 episodes on Netflix. If it doesn't make you want to change, you missed important information. My daughter and I have been primarily vegetarian for about 10 years now. I say "primarily" because, even though I never buy meat/poultry/fish for cooking at home, we still cheat sometimes, mostly with fish and sometimes chicken. And at times my craving for beef gets the better of me and I get a burger or taco at a fast food place. After watching this show, my daughter and I are going full vegan. The meat industry is absolutely disgusting and dangerous to our health, not to mention destroying our world. We need a revolution to save our world and that revolution is called veganism. It's time to take back our health and our planet from the money hungry meat industry!"
"What a novel scientific study! This’s an experiment to explore the effects of diet on overall health. The study was conducted on identical twins to find out whether or not a plant based diet would be a better choice in terms of improving health and the environment. This watch has been my first of 2024. If you liked How Not to Die (the book), this will probably be an enjoyable watch. It’s like a real life example of all the knowledge with a sprinkle of Dr. Greger’s commentary here and there haha! "
"Great documentary, and a must match for every adult. It is both extremely informative and interesting, but should come with a trigger warning for those with anxiety. I have extreme anxiety & am vegan, and have been thoroughly disturbed by the facts shared (some of which I knew) about the industrialized dairy, meat, & seafood industries what they do to animals and how it impacts the climate crisis. That being said, I will still mark as a must watch. "
