"Harmless, but nothing standout. It’s enough to keep your kids entertained, but any adults tuning in likely will tune out quick. This is one of the many animated shows my cousin has had me watch over the years, and this isn’t my least favorite, but I also don’t have any fond memories of watching it either. It’s not offensive, but just doesn’t do anything great with the IP. A core of the show is its humor, but I didn’t find it funny at all. My cousin did though, and considering that’s their target audience, it succeeds in that regard. The world building they do a good job with, it gets away from the Shrek universe and goes for a more mystical-fantasy kind of world almost D&Desque, which does work well in the context of the show. But the characters are rather one note and uninteresting, most characters just being gag characters. The plot tends to either be boring or remain stagnant. I found the animation to be horrible, not the worst thing I’ve seen, but I’ve seen much better from much older projects. The one thing of note here is the voice acting is rather good. All in all, I’ll likely forget we even watched this at all, it’s just not worth remembering. If you watch this with your kid, it’ll likely lose your attention quick, but most kids I’d imagine will find this entertaining enough. I think there is much better modern animation, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s not horrible. If you are looking for a show to keep your kids occupied, I’d imagine this will serve just fine. "
"This is such a good TV series, and from I think, better than most Shriek movies. I am very glad they made this series on Puss and made it kid friendly with many valuable themes in it that kids should know, with hints of adult humor. It was sweet from start to finish and had such great characters villain or protagonist, and amazing plot from start to finish. The plot getting more complex and deep but simple and in plain sight(a paradox I know), as the story went and characters were added on. I find that this series is great for everyone of all ages, and is great for families to watch if you're looking for a good series to watch with family. "
