"Shouldn't let kids read this...
This is really good, and I love these books, but it did leave me a bit shocked by the fact that it’s target audience is children given the fact that it features what is basically cannibalism, extreme self harm by cutting off chunks of self, and a character going insane until they were burnt alive and (presumably) never found. Maybe I just scared easy, but if I read this when I was 10-12 I wouldn’t sleep for months. "
