"3.5/5 but a bit closer to a 3/5 than an 4/5. <br/><br/>There were parts of this book I really loved. Up until the big reveal, I thought the book was ******* wonderful, could’ve ended up being a favourite. Elements of it reminded me of the toxic masculinity my ex boyfriends suffered. Some of Hank’s rhetoric was present in them. But that reveal really destroyed it for me. And the ending was ****.<br/><br/>Edit: realizing how deeply misogynistic this book was and the fact that I hardly thought about it?? Wacky."
