"I did not like this book at all. Boring and predictable "

"I related a lot to this book because I’m currently feeling like I have to choose between love and my family. I love how Albertson’s book discusses how gentrification affects communities like ours. I related a lot to Julieta’s character in a lot of ways: independent, hardworking, and cares about her family... All in all, a cute story with important subjects embedded throughout! "
"It was ok… pretty hokey, which is ok, but too many inconsistencies with the cooking & the restaurant was too much. Everyone knows when you work in a restaurant you are basically living there 24/7. Yet this girl never seems to work. She walks into the kitchen and does a few preps and then she takes off with the guy. Give me a break"
