Enter firefighter Scott Ritchie, the smug new gym patron who routinely steals her favorite squat rack. Sparks fly as these ultra-competitive foes battle for gym domination. But after a series of escalating jabs, the last thing they expect is to run into each other at their grandparents' engagement party. In the lead up to their grandparents' wedding, Crystal discovers there’s a soft heart under Scott’s muscled exterior. Bonding over family, fitness, and cheesy pick-up lines, they just might have found her swolemate. But when a photo of them goes viral, savage internet trolls put their budding relationship to the ultimate test of strength.

"3.5⭐
I read the second book of this series a few months ago, not knowing that it was part of a series, and really enjoyed it, so I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Not my favorite book ever, but it was fairly entertaining. I really liked Scott, though Crystal kind of got on my nerves sometimes. Definitely not as good as the second book, but was an easy enough read, so I think it was worth checking out."
"Crystal and Scott are the perfect couple and this book is amazing! The concept is wonderful and I really loved how Crystal’s social media posts were actually in the story and included positive and negative comments. It really lets the reader into the character’s world. I like how the connection came to be between Scott and Crystal and I really liked the slow-burn but than it got hot real quick, which was just as great. I though the troubled the characters went through were really valid."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5️⃣ So loved this book! I mean how can you not when the MMC is based off of Chris Evans with Jensen Ackles eyes (that’s how I read it so sue me) Love the realistic view of a curvier girl with a hot ass guy. The issues that Crystal and Scott faced really hit home for me personally. I’d give it a 🌶🌶🌶 on the spice. "
"This was a decent read, at times the fmc was a little annoying but there were her reasons. I wish there would’ve been more of a focus on her traumas and getting over them as it was brushed over really quickly at the end. I loved the main couple and am excited to read the second book in this series :)"
