"5/5 ⭐️ dual pov. Oh my did I loved this book. Once I started it I couldn’t stop. I finished it in a day. It felt like an early 2000s romcom but modernized. Ari and Josh felt like real people and the relationship dynamic and conflicts felt believable based on the character’s experiences. There was also great banter and hilarious observations and one liners throughout. This book is a slow burn which usually frustrates me but there was so much happening outside of the main characters relationship that it didn’t drag on. This book was exactly what I needed. Would definitely recommend. This book is not explicitly spicy. There are like two open book scenes but there is a lot of talk of sex, sexuality and implied sex throughout. On my scale it’s like a 1-1.5/5 but sex is still a pretty prominent theme within the book. Over I would recommend this book! Great fall vibes on the beautiful cover as well! "
"This book took place over many years where the characters experience a lot of disappointments. Their interactions SLOWLY go from enemies to friends and then lovers…. It was borderline exhausting and Ari was a lot. It is well written and I did finish it quickly, but it’s only 3.5 ⭐️s for me. "
"So letdown by this book. I’ve heard nothing but good things, but it was just SO slow. There wasn’t any romance for more than 200 pages into the book. Not even a slow burn. The main characters, were hard to like and get a connection with. Even the friends and family of the main characters were terrible and unlikeable. I DNF’d at chapter 22. I really tried, but now happy to be done with it."
"When Harry Met Sally vibes. Nice fall read. "

"Everyone saying that this is a beautiful interpretation of When Harry Met Sally watched a very different movie than I did. It felt too much like the author was trying to ham fist the movie into a half baked Reylo fic.

I was willing to take a risk on this even though I think the Reylo fandom is max cringe, but this was a swing and a miss and I found both protags lacking what made Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal great."
