"I am glad to see that Butcher is back into writing the Dresden Files, and I was not unhappy with the results, but I must say I *was* a little disappointed. The writing quality hasn’t dropped or anything, but I feel as if the usual hectic climax of events was unresolved, dealing only with a minor issue and leaving the larger problem it introduced looming for the next book. It’s the first time I’ve felt like a Dresden book ended with a significant cliffhanger. The first time Harry has turned away from the larger catastrophe to deal with personal issues first instead. I guess I just wonder if the author’s return and this change of pace are related, and I hope this isn’t a sign of change to come. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers, but I look forward to the next instalment all the same!"
