"So, I like the way this guy's brain works, and the way he writes. I rarely find myself thinking "oh! Like x book!" or "This reminds me of..." except for the subtle fairy tale threads that weave through all of the books. (some more than others). This book, though. This book was difficult. There were a lot of tedious conversations and chunks of information that, along with the weird skipping-around way the book is written, only made sense in the last five minutes of the book when all the puzzle pieces fell together. As much as others dislike the seemingly random, disjointed way the story is being told and as hard as it was to get through some parts of this book, I think this author is genius. So instead of the three stars I wanted to give it because of how much I had to pay attention to people other than my favorite characters, I gave it four because "OOOOOoooooooh!!!""
