Be forewarned, the MMC is dealing with parental estrangement and the FMC’s mother has dementia in case either of those things is triggering for you. I felt for their struggle and I appreciated their communication (for the most part). "

"Lost a star for making me cringe BUT! Once you get over the weird pop culture references and booktok references this book is so cute. He’s a Veterinarian fgs! He can look like a troll and I would be intrigued. I love all the little animals part of this book and the fact that both characters are just obsessed with each other . PS naming a dog Jake from State Farm really pmo for some reason. "
