"This book is in contention with Jethro’s story to be my favorite in the series! I’m a complete nerd so I love Cletus’ scheming and planning and overall complex mind! Jennifer stole my heart with her journey. I am a people watched so I loved hearing observations she picked up on by people watching. I love how she would impress Cletus with her baking and problem solving skills and even though her goal was to be a wife and a mom, he never thought less of her. I love how Penny Reid always balances feminism so well in her books. I really enjoyed this entire book and loved seeing how it turned out. Excellent read! 5⭐️, 2🌶"

"I just love Cletus and really wanted to read his story.. He is super smart and sneaky and just great. He gets his revenge a sneaky way and I loved him from the first book when he meddled and got the two love birds together. When Jennifer black mails him.. he really let's that go and helps her.. Too bad they are not suited."
