"3.75 stars. A little too predictable which most of these books in the series are. I did enjoy the characters and the even flow. Butch was mostly a side bar in the past books and for him to get is own story was interesting.<br/><br/>The relationship between him and V is so confusing but also so intriguing. Slowly seeing Butch's character arc blossom was hilarious. He is such a dominant caring person I'm glad to see he got all he deserved."

"Another solid read in the series. Continuing from the last book, I did find it frustrating that both main characters initially seemed poised to avoid each other despite their feelings. That the return of a bad guy who's been dead was very confusing off the bat. This will be explained throughout the book, so just hang in there. The prophecy was a nice touch, and more lore is always a plus for me, and you really feel for the MMC finding his family."
