"Thank god this was gifted to me by a friend otherwise I might have not found one of my best reads to this day. Its historical fiction which turned me off at first when it was gifted to me. BUT I NEVER REGRETTED giving it a chance. Might I add the movie does the book justice that’s rare! You will fall in love with every character in the story even the ones you thought you would never like. ITS A MUST READ FOR SURE!!! This is one of the first books that kept me sobbing forever it seemed like. DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO READ IT! ESPECIALLY if you never gave historical novels a chance."
