"This is the first Stephen King novel I’ve read, I’m not a fan of the style. There was a lot of back-and-forth which made the story confusing. There was a little spice to it but it’s not described at all, there’s a lot of killing but not overly described either. There is some cursing but so infrequent. Three times the main character described a little boy as being very handsome, which made me uncomfortable. Overall it was a good story I just didn’t care for the writing style. "
