"Anyone else wish books had a playlist included to listen along to while reading? This mentions quite a few songs in it so I did just that and created one on Spotify. Wish more books had one!!
This is about a virginal, 27 year old, loner, living in London, who dies, and is given a chance to find her true love back on Earth in 10 days, or spend all eternity in a trial dating game at the mercy of her Afterlife Therapist. Yes, it was as eye-rolly as it sounds but still enjoyable enough to finish. #enemiestolovers #fakedating #forcedproximity #lovetriangle #twisty"
"Fun, easy, quick read. I am interested in reading another Kristy Greenwood book.
What I loved:
* I am always a sucker for a rom-com
* My first “afterlife-life” experience
* A fun twist at the end that I didn’t expect
* MC learned to appreciate people in her life and make me want to really start appreciating the time I have left here on this earth.
Not so much:
* Personally, not really a fan of loners.
* Transitions were rough. I love a bit of absurdity in my rom-coms, however, I feel like stretching out the transitions would make the silly situations that the MC finds herself in be more fun and maybe a little bit more natural.
* Lack of chemistry. This is written in her POV. I need to see more of his feelings.
FYI:
*Spice: I prefer either a lot of it or none at all. This was middle of the road. It did add a little to the story so I didn’t totally hate it.

"Cute premise, but very, very obvious *twists* throughout. FMC is a loner, who, after being granted a 2nd chance at life embraces all the opportunities and it was fun to read her character growth. Aside from that, all supporting characters in the book were grossly caracturized in their roles. The coworkers who were desperate to spend time with her, the immediate best-friend librarian, the old man neighbour, the grumpy neighbour, the brooding hot male neighbour, the freaking DELI guy?! Each placement so obvious, it made the abundance of name-dropping of current best selling romance writers seem less like an SEO ploy by comparison. (There was A LOT!) <br/>Thank you to netgalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. 3*'s only because it was a very fast, light read."
