Jennifer L. Armentrout
The unforgettable second novel in the acclaimed Covenant series from #1 New York Times bestselling Jennifer L. Armentrout. Includes a special bonus scene from Seth's point of view.Enter the world of Covenant...For Alexandria, being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome - especially when her 'other half' is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom - so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her memories of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies - creatures determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods... and that includes Alex. If that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters weren't bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.

"So... I hate the pures. The more I hear about them, the more I wanted the main characters to do what she thinks, since she is a knee jerk thinker. The old time thinkers are the worst. I think it would be a good thing to start keeping track of the foreseer mumble jumble. But the wine has got to be the funniest scene yet, poor girl, and I can't blame Seth at all.

I'm starting to understand/piece together what the foreseer is saying about him."
"I mean it was good but at the same time extremely basic..."

"I loved this book! Yes, the first book but was a lot like vampire academy, but this was completely its own. In this book we get a better understanding of this world. We get to go to council 'headquarters' and witness the old ways of the covenant. The romance in this book is amazing. I really loved Aiden and Seth in the first book, but Seth was my everything in this book. I love when Aiden is sweet to Alex, but Seth is always funny and nice and he's always been there for her. There's really a connection there. And he truly does care for her. This book is definitely a page turner. I was never bored! The action was really great. And for all of you who have read it, how about that new weapon? I loved this book and I need more. Jennifer's have never been a let down. A++ rating."
