"This book was ok, not her best work. It was well written but like some other readers I had a hard time finding this really romantic when one of the parties doesn’t understand relationships and even what she’s saying half the time. She did a great job describing Ian including his often childlike perspective- it was a good story but isn’t really romantic. The other brothers intrigued me and I may read more of this series."
"I don't normally like historical romances, but this one had a high rating and was recommended to me. I gave it a shot and I loved it. I don't know what it was that drew me into the story, but I absolutely loved the characters. Maybe I'm a sucker for a dark and brooding type of guy, but it could also be because the female protagonist was hilarious and she stood up for herself. She wasn't the typical women who faints at everything like most women in historical romances."

"Lord Ian may have aspergers (undiagnosed in this historical setting), but this is part of what makes him so loveable! His intelligence and attention to beauty is amazing, and the way Beth believes in him is inspiring. "
