"You know what I think this movie was way ahead of its time I mean think about now a days we have "movie universes" such as the conjuring universe I definitely seethe potential and I definitely see the idea of what this was. I think it was fun to see the homage to the Halloween movies in the TV scenes. Also the commercial was a Bop for sure don't think I'll forget it this Halloween season. If you are going to do a movie about masks that's how they should look. As long as you go into this with the mindset it's in the Halloween universe not a micheal myers movie I think you could really enjoy it."
"Halloween III: Season of the Witch is a 1982 horror film that is the third installment in the Halloween franchise, but the only one that does not feature the iconic killer Michael Myers. Instead, the film follows a doctor and a young woman who uncover a sinister plot by a toy company to use Halloween masks to kill millions of children on Halloween night.
The film is directed by Tommy Lee Wallace, who also wrote the screenplay, and produced by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, who created the original Halloween. The film stars Tom Atkins, Stacey Nelkin, Dan O’Herlihy, and Michael Currie. The film is a departure from the slasher genre of the previous films, and instead incorporates elements of science fiction, witchcraft, and conspiracy. It was intended to be the first of an anthology series that would explore different aspects of Halloween, but the negative reaction from fans and critics prevented that from happening.
The film has since gained a cult following and a more positive reputation among some critics and fans, who appreciate its originality, atmosphere, and music. It is praised for its dark and cynical tone, its creative and gruesome kills, its eerie and catchy score by Carpenter and Alan Howarth, and its memorable villain, Conal Cochran, played by O’Herlihy. The film also has some social commentary on consumerism, mass media, and conformity, as well as some references to Celtic mythology and folklore.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch is a film that divides the horror community, and is either loved or hated by fans of the franchise. The film is a bold and risky experiment, that tries to do something different and creative with the Halloween concept, but also fails to deliver a satisfying and coherent story. It is a curious and controversial piece of horror history, that deserves to be seen and judged for itself.

"I love Michael Myers with every fiber of my being as any logical person should, and I know that most fans of the Halloween franchise hate this film because it only shows him once in a short clip on a tv, but if this film was a standalone, it'd work perfectly. Not to mention the silver shamrock commercial is such a bop."
"Not a great film, maybe could be a stand alone film I remember Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I think Goosebumps did a version of this where you become the mask you wear but this shouldn't be labeled a Halloween movie. No Michael Myers but if this was made as it's own original film it could probably rank higher "
"I see what they where trying to do with this movie but I just didn’t like it I give this movie a 4/10"
