A young female doctor discovers something sinister going on in her hospital. Relatively healthy patients are having 'complications' during simple operations and ending up in comas. The patients are then shipped off to an institute that looks after them. The young doctor suspects there is more to this than meets the eye.

"This is a mild medical mystery starring Michael Douglas and Geneviève Bujold. I admit the first half an hour was boring because of the medical jargon, as well as setting up the daily schedule of our two main characters, as well as their relationship. Michael Douglas plays the role of Mark, a surgeon, and Genevieve is a nurse named Susan. The acting is decent, but a little too subdued for my taste. I also felt very uncomfortable with how Mark was so dismissive of Susan when she felt something was very wrong in the Hospital 🏥, even as she starts to piece 🧩 some of the mystery together. The mystery doesn't start really unfolding until about the last hour of the film, and the last act was almost too simplistic for the type of suspense that was built up in the first three acts. But to be fair, it was a decent film which mostly kept my interest. (Warning: ⚠️ Brief female nudity.)"
