"Couldn’t get into it unfortunately "

"I think this should've been made into a limited series instead of a movie. The story was not developed enough, and too much of it felt told to me instead of shown to me. They should've spent more time showing the whys and hows of the mcs relationship instead of zooming into what it is now. I'd also describe this movie as a mix of twilight and the after series, which is also to say it's not my cup of tea. And lastly, I really didn't care for the music stylings. The songs seemed to be picked based on their popularity more than them fitting the scene they accompanied, and then the editing of the songs entering and exiting the audio was too sloppy and distracting, making me enjoy the movie even less. At least the acting wasn't bad. 4/10🦋💧"
"I couldn’t stop bawling my eyes out with this movie. This movie is incredible if you’re romantic person."

"The description was deceiving, but once you watch it you get more details and it all unfolds perfectly. (PS Steamy scenes not strong, but still there a bit)"

"This won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I, deep breath, loved how tragic, emotional, and beautiful it all was. I ached for these characters and their paining, abuse-ridden backstories.
Two orphans, Nica and Rigel, have a complicated past, forever tying them together as one, and end up being adopted by the same parents. Nica is under the impression that Rigel hates her, but she couldn’t be more wrong. Evocative, sensual, and dark, Rigel is a brooding, mysterious soul that Nica magnetically gets wrapped up in as their souls and bodies meet, slowly then all at once. Being in each other’s presence drives them to tantalizing new heights. Their desire is palpable, their chemistry undeniable. Their worlds, after all, orient around the same axis while tension flickers hot between them. They genuinely save each other from ruin and bring out the continued, complicated beauty the other houses. This movie, at its core, gives the viewer a rush, with a perfectly dreamy soundtrack to accompany it.
The premise of them being newly adopted, yet non-biological, brother and sister may put some people off, but the more and more I watched I realized that what they had been through together, why they loved the other so deeply, was more important. All else faded away and didn’t matter. They found each other when they needed it most in order to survive before they could begin to thrive. Watch this for an arresting intimacy unable to be replicated and a story so profound you can’t help but let it headily consume you. "
"What complete and utter drivel.
None of it made sense, I'm guessing they'd torn all the dumb metaphors out of the book giving zero context in the movie and then heavily sprinkled in some child corn.
I don't know what it is with Netflix and making raunchy teen romances. Like you're all adults writing child fiction and then directing child movies, QUIT IT already with the weirdness.
I went in not knowing the genre and was literally waiting for a werewolf or some crap.
The big dramatic scenes had no drama because there had been no relationship built through story.
Without the garbage narration of the main character this pure example of laziness wouldve been just a jumble of flashcard faces."
