"This is the first horror movie I saw, I was about at least 9-10, I was at my cousins house they choice the movie before I got there but I remember being very very exited..it gave me nightmares that night..I loved it..I was a weird kid but I’ve been hooked to horror since. These memories still feel Tangible even when I watch it today so it has a soft spot in my heart. #horror "

"Say what you will, but this was, and still is, an iconic movie engine. Part of that was due to the first viral marketing ever, and it worked. People legit thought this was real, and it was the actual footage found and released to us. This was the first (successful) found footage film, ever, and it spawned many others in the generations to come. This remains the best one. Talk all the sh*t you want, but it's still terrifying to this day. I LOVE IT SO MUCH "
"I know this is a classic of the found footage subgenre, but it just isn't done well compared to other films. The camera doesn't need to be this shaky with found footage. The characters are extremely unlikeable and honestly nothing actually happens for 95% of the movie. For a good found footage (if you don't mind reading subtitles) I'd recommend Noroi: the curse or Occult (both Koji Shiraishi films). "
