Beneath the fake blood and cheap masks of countless haunted house attractions across the country, there are whispers of truly terrifying alternatives. Looking to find an authentic, blood-curdling good fright for Halloween, five friends set off on a road trip in an RV to track down these underground Haunts. "Nothing happens for most of the movie, we are just following a group of unlikeable people going from Haunt to Haunt with very little pay off or real event to forward the actually "plot." It takes most of the run time before they get to any point at all and most of which is very avoidable so in turn makes it less threatening and what they do go through isn't worth being bored for half the runtime anyway. The camera work was to bad for you to see anything that was really going on, it almost gave me a headache trying to focus on what they where stressing out about so it ending up just me listening to people scream for about 90 mins. My final thoughts are it's just a messy movie that could have been something cause the concept for an extreme hidden haunt could be fun and spooky but they failed to deliver either. Maybe a little more time needs to be taken on a good story next time!"

Typical of the found-footage subgenre, it starts of slow before picking up the pace. Unfortunately, because the film starts five days before Halloween, it's a little erratic as they go from spooky haunted house scene to the next dull day multiplied by five. There are points in the film - also typical of this subgenre - where you got to wonder why the character with the camera is still filming (realistically, he/she wouldn't - it's strictly for the viewer). I enjoyed it, but would not rewatch it."
"I found out about this little gem when it was advertising on social media. I was intrigued by the plot of these friends going on a road trip to find the scariest haunted house in America. I wasn't disappointed. I know some people hated this franchise, but I guess I'm easily pleased. I wouldn't call it scary, just creepy and really fun to watch. Check out the guy wearing the creepy skeleton head dancing towards their table to the tune of "Halloween Spooks". You'll know when you see it. Love that scene."
