"Cast and filmed in what I’m convinced is my Midwestern middle of nowhere hometown, population 3,000 and an two hours from anywhere. If he would have turned down the notch from a 10 to a 5? This could’ve been one of my favorite new horror films. That said, whenever someone asks for these type of horror movie lists, this has to be near the top. Goriest, most disgusting, best mid 80’s movie, most times you have to cover the screen with your hand, best B movie. Oh, and definitely best actress in a leading role, Lauren LaVera. "
"They really had me in the first half with all its weirdness and I do really love Art as a horror icon he is really good and his design makes him that much better…but holy hell did this movie start to drag near the end and was more invested in adding more questions then actually answering any of them…I don’t think it answered one of the many I had. I just remember my boyfriend and I being dumb founded specially with the extra scene at the end…I guess let’s hope things start to actually make sense in the next one cause I really want to like these movies and I’ll always support them all for small film makers to succeed. We need them."
"On Day 8 I finally watched the sequel Terrifier 2. If you know anything about this franchise then you already know what type of horror film you’re in store for. This is even more over the top with blood and gore compared to the last one which is saying a lot. Art the Clown is a disturbingly interesting character. I will admit while watching I had to ask myself who is that demented to visualize some of these gruesome scenes. Although I did laugh at the blood and salt bit but wow. This film isn’t for the faint of heart. If you’re not a hardcore horror fan then I probably wouldn’t recommend. "

"I might be completely desensitized. Don’t get me wrong, if you want an old school slasher gorefest, then you can’t go wrong with this one. There are some nasty practical effects and Art the clown is pretty funny at times when he shows enjoyment of the vile things he does. Just my opinion as always."
"This was a dark dank mistake !! Especially to see in theatres almost walked out. Maybe I’m just getting too old for such senseless brutality, I know it’s fictional but Something about this really turned my stomach and made me get philosophical about why we watch such violent **** and call it art. 🫣😓😵💫🤷🏽♀️"
