"The description of this movie is very misleading. Purposefully, I guess. Although at its core, it is a love story, this movie is more about lonely, drifter cannibals who somehow find each other across the Midwest. As shocking as the source material is, this movie is very well done, but most definitely not for everyone. I've read more than a few reviews that praise Timothee Chalamet, and Taylor Russell for their roles... But I have to give props to Mark Rylance for his portrayal of Sully. He is a superb character actor who commands attention every time he appears on screen with a subtle intensity that had me intrigued. Even though it was disturbing to watch at times, I did enjoy this movie. I give it an 8/10."
"Really odd but not bad. It’s about two young adults (Timothee Chalamet and Taylor Russell, both great) who fall in love despite their shared addiction. Only, their drug of choice is live or recently deceased flesh. Having worked peripherally in the field my entire career, this checks all the boxes; illegal behavior, bargaining, denial, failed rule setting, relapse, family exasperation. It’s a dour movie to say the least, and the ending left something to be desired, but definitely watchable. "

"One of the most interesting films of 2022 by far. It's one part horror and two parts romance, and I love how it captures both. Maren and Lee traverse an 80s Midwestern landscape that feels more post-apocalyptic than it does modern. Everything is in a state of decay. In this world, they feel like logical beings — people destined to consume other people. It's like society, in its death throes, has nothing else to consume but itself. It feels like a vampire movie, but the cannibalism aspect brings a new level of shock to the film that vampire movies lack. The film explores the ethical problems of this lifestyle and existential fears of what is good and what is evil torments the characters. The cinematography of the film is absolutely stunning and it's got a killer soundtrack, paired with great lead performances from Chalamet and Russell, as well as an eerily creepy turn by Mark Rylance. It's one of the most beautifully directed movies to have come out in years and solidifies Luca Guadagnino as one of my favorite working directors. No one makes films like his."
"Not what I expected at all! I thought it was vampires and more of science fiction… it was cannibalism! 🤣 It was gross to watch in certain scenes but besides that the scenery, aesthetics, story lines, clothes, and everything in between was amazing! Made it pleasing to watch. The ending was a bit confusing and kind of left me stuck. Great film though! #drama #horror #romance #timotheechalamet #taylorrussel"
"This movie is slow burning, but you should give this movie a chance because once you know all the characters you start getting into the story"

"Finally got a chance to check out Bones and All. A film I’ve actually been somewhat anticipating. Acting ✅ Directing ✅ Cinematography ✅ Score ✅ it’s all there. As far as the story goes I honestly didn’t like it very much or as much as I imagined I would .The cannibalism love story just ain’t my cup of tea I guess. Especially they way the story is presented with these characters . Tbh I was a little disappointed. For reasons I don’t want to get into. Majority of critics like it and it has positive reviews but it just wasn’t for me. Funny thing is once I noticed they were traveling through the Midwest I said to myself at some point gotta visit my state too. Sure enough by the end of the film where you think they decided to settle at? Yup Michigan so that was fun because I called it. I’m definitely in the minority for not loving this film but I guess it’s still worth checking out."
