"I Used to Be Funny was a great movie. I enjoyed the style of storytelling that traveled back and forth through time, including relevant memories and conversations related to the story. I think it was a good representation of the effects of PTSD and the complications in relationships of those involved. Great primary and secondary characters as well. I agree with some other reviews that the end felt rushed, but it felt right too. It was a resolution that felt authentic. "
"I actually really loved this movie. I was a bit confused at first, but as the story unfolded, I fell in love with it more and more. I appreciate it not being too aggressive in its presentation of the event. The music was incredible. I'm definitely adding to my uncomfortable comfort movie list. But I do suggest checking trigger warnings bc the description does not help!"
